So the Kings will play S15 but might not be in the currie cup.

Why don’t they just bump both the Kings and Pumas up to the premier division – with all the boks away, the teams are a lot more equal.

Also, the Bulls or WP could have easily ended up having to play this promotion\relegation match. The fact that their boks were doing national duty should be something you get rewarded for, not penalised.

Kings can rest a bunch of players for this game. Being a promotion relegation game, there is zero incentive to win. Because should they lose, they’ll just get the Government’s Ministry of SARU to shift the goal posts to somehow include them in the Premier Division.

Pity that the Kings are not playing against Griquas in the play off. Cheetahs will probably be too strong for them especially as they will field a very weakened team.
