Johnny Wilkinson (feeding a centre combination of Gitau and Basteraud) is batting for a place in the Lions tour next year – I’ll put money that he gets in.

As for Bakkies … where he goes, I go. Vivre le Toulon (coached by madman Bernard Laporte – yes, academically this is the most fascinating side in world rugby).
