Brown leads Scots in mission impossible
6 Nov 2012
Kelly Brown will captain Scotland for the first time when they host the world champion All Blacks on Sunday.
This weekend’s Test is Scotland’s first since their successful tour of Australasia in June, a tour that included a win against Australia. Coach Andy Robinson has made five changes.
Nick De Luca returns for the injured Joe Ansbro at centre, scrumhalf Mike Blair starts ahead of the recuperating Chris Cusiter, while Geoff Cross, Jim Hamilton and Brown are preferred to Euan Murray, Alastair Kellock and Richie Vernon.
Meanwhile, lock Richie Gray is expected to recover from an ankle injury and take his place in the starting line-up. Gray will undergo a further fitness test later in the week.
