Thomson, Simmons cited
12 Nov 2012
All Blacks flanker Adam Thomson has been cited for stamping while Wallabies lock Rob Simmons is also in trouble for his tip-tackle on Frenchman Yannick Nyanga.
Thomson was cited for stamping or trampling on the head of Scotland flank Alasdair Strokosch in Sunday’s Test at Murrayfield. Thomson was yellow carded for the offence, but is still expected to fetch a hefty ban.
Simmons has been called to task for a dangerous tip-tackle on Nyanga in the second half of the Wallabies’ clash against France on Saturday.
Hearings for both players will take place in London on Wednesday.

Will be interesting to see if sentences are fair in comparison to if they were Boks doing this – with Mourie and Eales and those types in charge, I doubt it.
12 Nov 2012, 20:15 pm
@J.B. Cowper-2: What would you say is fair?
Worse than Etzebeth, who got 1 game? Yes.
Worse than Greyling, who got 1 game? Not so sure. The intent and result were less malicious. But it was foot-to-head so I’d be happy with 2-3 games.
12 Nov 2012, 22:50 pm
Dirty f uks, ban them for a few weeks, blight on the game!
12 Nov 2012, 23:34 pm
@whatever-4:
Strange how you said that Etzebeth was only a tap and greyling…well McCaw deserved it yet a Kiwi and Ozzie are classed dirty and should be banned for weeks?. Two faced much?
Even the french are saying it was not a stomp but careless.
Still i think they should he banned as well for a game,in fact i think Thompson is useless and should never put the black jersey on again.
12 Nov 2012, 23:53 pm
@Hurricane-5:
Dirty thieving thugs……….don’t need them in the game at all. You put your boot on a guys face and it is called reckless? Yeah right! Hansen again trying to justify it………..just like kevie boy……….” I know Kevin, he would never intentionally headbutt anyone” WTF??
Etsebeth did not even make contact………one eyed maybe?
12 Nov 2012, 23:59 pm
@whatever-6:
Etzebeth did make contact , are you really this childish.
Hansen did not justify it at all, he said that a boot near anyones head is playing with danger….surely you watched the same news programme as me ya dole spounging blouse.
13 Nov 2012, 00:28 am
@gonzo-3:
I would say Brad Thorne getting one week for a vicious spear tackle on John Smit that put him out of rugby for three months is a let-off; Bakkies getting two weeks for legitimate hard entree to a ruck is a travesty; long been two sets of rules – the ghosts of Bok domination for decades in world rugby coming back to haunt them? Who knows why – but it ain’t fair, that’s for sure – didn’t see the Thomson attack, but that Wallabie should go down for this like any Bok would.
13 Nov 2012, 00:37 am
@J.B. Cowper-8:
lol
Smit played on and recieved the groin strain later in the match.
You cant continue to play with a strain that keeps you out of the game for 3 months.
Of course Thorn did not help but to blame Thorn on an injury that happened after the fact is rather silly.
Bakkies hard entry into a ruck is normally leading with a shoulder,elbow. I have clips of his so called entry into rucks…..you tube is great isnt it.
13 Nov 2012, 01:06 am
@Hurricane-7:
The only one on a dole is your air thief mate poppadoos………….would that be the left leaning TV3 or the one eyed TV1 in NZ?
13 Nov 2012, 01:10 am
@Hurricane-9:
Hahahaha, so you you save the youtube clips of Bakkies and then produce them when anyone dares call the AB’s for what they are? Sad fu k
Try saving the clips of Thorn as well and see if his entry into the rucks are any different…………this continuous “we are saints” rant is pathetic
13 Nov 2012, 01:40 am
@whatever-10: I do find it strange that NZ tv has a NZ slant to it.. its immigrants like yourself who fester hatred…
and hang on, I thought i was a security guard, now I’m on the dole? hahaha

Tell me poppadoos, when someone gives you a freebee ticket to go watch the AB’s v the Ozzies in Sydney, I guess you dress in yellow and support your new country?
13 Nov 2012, 04:13 am
@whatever-15: tell me dckhead, have I ever run down australia? no, I appreciate the good living it enables me to have.. unlike yourself with your continual disgust at a country that gives you many freedoms
you certainly stink up the place, why did you ever move to a country you hate so much?
13 Nov 2012, 04:37 am
@whatever-15:
What if i gave you two free tickets to Boks vs ABs at Eden park next year, would you dress in black?
13 Nov 2012, 05:53 am
@poppa69-16:
I’ve said this a 1000 times but you never listen do you doos……………I have never run down NZ either……………had a go at arrogant one eyed dipshits like you yes, thats all…………try and let that sink in!!
13 Nov 2012, 05:54 am

Thomson was yellow carded for the offence, but is still expected to fetch a hefty ban.
JC.
I’ll bet all my Keo $ that Thomo gets no more than 1 week.
Even Alasdair Strokosch has said it was nothing and no need even for an apology.

13 Nov 2012, 10:50 am
@cane-49: *** is like golf and pizza: even when it’s bad it’s good.
13 Nov 2012, 10:53 am
@cane-35: When it first happened I was expecting a hefty ban but after watching it and looking at similar offences, considering he was carded and as far as I remember doesn’t have a record (I’m sure Bakkies can correct me though), I would only expect a couple of weeks. If so, I hope Hansen sends him home anyway. It’s an embarrassment. to the jersey
Compared to Saffers stampers
Kankowski got one week for a stamp, with mitigating circumstance being that the opposition were holding his legs.
Rautenbach got three weeks for a really stamp to the face.
13 Nov 2012, 10:56 am
@gonzo-52: But remember, they still owe Thompson for that terrible piece of acting a few years back when a flathand from Kockott sent him sprawling to the ground like he was shot in the forehead with a hunting rifle. That’s worth at least another three weeks, and I expect them to run consecutively.
13 Nov 2012, 10:57 am
@gonzo-52:
I’m happy whatever the judicary panel decide Gonzo.
I don’t think these things are biased or corrupt. Nor have they ever been.
13 Nov 2012, 11:11 am
@cane-54: Brace yourself. If he gets off we’ll have some serious explaining to do
@katman-53: Yeah, that was a nice performance. He and Brussow can both get three week bans for unmanly conduct
13 Nov 2012, 11:14 am
@gonzo-55: Handbags at half-a-metre?
13 Nov 2012, 11:17 am
@gonzo-55: Indeed. They should be forced to train for a month with the synchronised swimming teams.
13 Nov 2012, 11:20 am
@gonzo-55:
You can’t explain anything to these pricks gonzo.
We just have to hang in there for a day or two.
Take the hits, roll with punches……………………………..watch your eyes for FS.
Then after 2 to 3 days they get bored with us,

@cane-58: Speaking of business as usual… I see one of your lot wanted to fling poop at the prince. Is that a standard custom in those parts?
13 Nov 2012, 11:42 am
@gonzo-52:
none that i know of.
on the subject of stampers, memories of KIWI STAMPER jamie joseph putting kyran bracken out for FOUR MONTHS comes to mind or better yet how bout jpr williams who had a hole torn in his cheek by KIWI PROP ashworth in a moment of stamping par excellance.
here it is for old times sake:
http://www.rugbydump.com/2007/05/110/jpr-williams-gets-his-face-stamped-in-vs-the-all-blacks
and who can forget that most despicable act of about 8 or 10 men stamping all over phillip de glanvilles face… hmmmm…
now then, Gonzo old pal… remind me again just how much of a sanction those kiwi stampers received..?..

Jacobites still exist here in NZ.
The Windsors (read Hanoverians) are pretenders and are to be outed at every opportunity.
Only when the rightful heir of Bonny Prince Charlie ascends to the Throne and the House of Stuart is restored, will they rest.
In the meantime……………………………………..dung is there only weapon.

13 Nov 2012, 12:13 pm
beginning..?
13 Nov 2012, 12:17 pm
@Hurricane-13:
Saints we ain’t mate and don’t pretend to be (that would be trully ridiculous) – but the administrators who run and control the world game have a lot to answer for but nobody will ever ask the question because they are too darn politically correct and polite – and South Africans for sure don’t know how to play that particular game of corruption politics, and because of that the Bok team gets systematically reduced by forces off the field – primarily residing in the Antipodes.
13 Nov 2012, 12:19 pm
@i_love_u_bakkiesbotha-66:
Like your team are saints….lol….from the beginning haha
13 Nov 2012, 12:25 pm
@i_love_u_bakkiesbotha-60: Did they have a system to ban players back then?
I won’t argue with you, that was bad. Rugby was not for sissies back then. But times have changed haven’t they? Rucking has gone, citing commissioners pick up on anything, hell, they even let Maori players tour South Africa these days!
13 Nov 2012, 13:09 pm
@Hurricane-69:
its gonna take a while, but i’ll get an admission out of you, yet.
@gonzo-70:
well it certainly kicked up a stink with the rfu who viewed it as ‘dangerous play, far beyond the bounds of acceptable conduct’ and sought some or other redress.
13 Nov 2012, 13:11 pm
as a reminder of how little things have changed as far as the all blacks and rugby is concerned:
England captain Will Carling has branded New Zealand a dirty side
who damaged rugby union’s reputation during their tour of Britain,
which ended on Saturday.
Carling, writing in the Mail on Sunday newspaper, accused them of
being underhand and employing a win-at-all-costs attitude. “They will
be remembered as a dirty side,” he says. “That is sad for them, but I
think they deserve it. “Some of their play has been beyond the
conventions we obey and I feel more sad about the damage they have
done to rugby’s image. “The All Blacks arrived with a specialist
public relations man to improve their image, but they have failed. The
image that sticks is of a team which were prepared to win at any cost.
“This tour was a great showcase for the game, but how many mothers
will now be saying ‘I don’t want my son to play rugby’?” “They were
quite ready to be underhand if they thought it would serve their
cause. Just look at the number of penalties they conceded. “The Phil
de Glanville and Kyran Bracken incidents went beyond the unwritten
code among players.”
De Glanville needed 15 stitches in a face wound after being raked
out of a ruck playing for South-West Division against the All Blacks
last month. Bracken had his ankle stamped on by Jamie Joseph during
his debut as England scrum-half last weekend. The All Black flanker
was disciplined internally, but Carling argues strongly for an
independent body to hand to punish offenders in future.
“It is ridiculous to have the tour management involved,” he
says. “Their job is to bring back a successful record. How can they be
objective? “I think there should be an independent body appointed for
each tour and I think the players should be represented on it. “They
are far more honest and aware, and they are far fairer in their
judgement of other players.”
All Blacks coach Laurie Mains earlier pre-empted Carling’s comments
by dismissing as “nonsense” claims that his side were guilty of
“dirty” play. “There was one episode that everybody agrees was an
accident (De Glanville) and the incident in the Test last week for
which the player (Joseph) has been disciplined,” he said. “But it has
not been an issue on this tour.”

they can faff about all they want but if you cast your mind through time from the 80′s up to the present and just ignore the kiwi propaganda brainwashing efforts, its pretty clear to see them for what they are.
they’ve been at it then and they’re still at it now.
p.s. i’m being kind when only going back as far as the 80′s.
13 Nov 2012, 21:49 pm

13 Nov 2012, 22:27 pm
@i_love_u_bakkiesbotha-72:
The seething Wallabies accused South Africa of biting, eye-gouging and spitting during a sensational aftermath to Australia’s drought-breaking Tri-Nations victory in Brisbane last night.
The Wallabies won 29-9 but they were furious after forward enforcer Toutai Kefu was stretchered from the ground in the 79th minute with a neck injury following a high tackle from Springbok prop Robbie Kempson.
The barging No.8 was taken to hospital after complaining of numbness in his forearms and fingers and the Wallabies were anxiously awaiting news on the condition of their most damaging runner.
Hooker Brendan Cannon complained of having his shoulder bitten and eyes gouged by a Springboks player while coach Eddie Jones could barely hide his anger after the match.
“It’s really a disgrace for international rugby. It puts a whole slur on the game,” Jones said.
“It needs to be rubbed out of the game. You can’t have those sorts of incidents in international rugby.
“There were cases of players eyes being gouged, spitting on the field and the shot on Toutai.
“They need to have a look at themselves because that sort of rubbish shouldn’t go on.”
Captain George Gregan described the match as “another day at the office playing South Africa” while Cannon said he was frightened during one incident.
“I was actually bitten on my right shoulder and I retaliated and the subsequent retaliation from the South African player was putting his fingers in both my eyes,” Cannon said.
“It was a pretty frightening experience.”
I can go on there is so much on a website about SA rugby
13 Nov 2012, 22:56 pm
@Hurricane-64:
I beg to differ…….the best was Sean Fitpatrick who grabbed his face and fell to the ground when Jooste walked past him in a cheating attempt to get a penalty. Think it was the ’95 WC………
13 Nov 2012, 22:58 pm
@Hurricane-79:
Hurri…I have to also bring up the incident of friendly fire/gouge/fabrication in the Bulls v Crusaders game…….no scruples watsoever
13 Nov 2012, 23:01 pm
@Hurricane-79:
And you take the faaking Ozzies words as gospel? It was all one way? Yeah right! I suppose you would though hey, cause thats how you roll…….
One eyed f uk head!
13 Nov 2012, 23:03 pm
Richard Loe taught the rugby world about eyegouging
Sean Fitpatrick taught the rugby world about cheating and falling around like a soccer player
World firsts…………to be congratulated!
Dirty fu ks
13 Nov 2012, 23:06 pm
@Te Rangatira-81:
Yup, so cause their was no direct video evidence it did not happen??
Hahaha, well where there is smoke there is fire………..and lets just say that on Hansens history of saying Kevies headbutt was a cleanout gone wrong we all know who to believe hey?
13 Nov 2012, 23:09 pm
@whatever-83:
Was at a club game around 1988, Frazer Tech v Tokoroa Pirates, first scrum both front rows coming up swinging and in the thick of it was Richard Loe, who could really handle himself…..don,t know why he had to resort to the dirty tactics like the incident you mentioned on Cooper or the forearm drop on Corroza.
13 Nov 2012, 23:12 pm
@whatever-84:
Well I’m of the belief if you can’t prove it….best to let it go, especially if you beat them on the scoreboard…you will get to play them again sooner or later
13 Nov 2012, 23:13 pm
@Te Rangatira-85:
Some blokes just have it in their DNA, normally pleasant off the park as well……….
I think the general point here is that all teams worldwide have had their issues with dirty play and Hurri and his gang need to accept that the AB’s are right up there and not exempt as he seems to think.
13 Nov 2012, 23:15 pm
@Te Rangatira-86:
Thing is Te Rangi, is was let go by the Saffas when no video evidence could be found…………unfortunately the Keewees then wanted a faaking apology…….I mean what the f uk??
13 Nov 2012, 23:18 pm
@Te Rangatira-85:
What area in NZ do you reside Te Rangi?
13 Nov 2012, 23:20 pm
@whatever-87:
Yeah Whatever….correct….I think we Ab supporters know our team are no angels…but I have to say the discipline/dirty play has improved markedly from yesteryear.
13 Nov 2012, 23:31 pm
@whatever-89:
Mate…I’m in Auckland….was in Pt Chev moved out South a couple of months ago so my wife and I could be closer to work.
13 Nov 2012, 23:33 pm
@whatever-82:
So you have no problem with Bakkies believing the English?
@whatever-87:
Where have i said NZ has never done anything illegal or dirty in rugby.
Nowhere at all. You out of them all is the only blind person when only above my post are people bagging on about NZ and the dirty play like SA has not even put a foot wrong. Fact is Bakkies, the main culprit has reported the SA is one of the cleanest teams in rugby now, this is where i get annoyed when only this year we have witnessed head butts and flying elbows.
@whatever-88:
If you were accused of something that you didnt do or no proof what so ever, would you say nothing? I think not.
Maybe the players let it go but SA fans have not. Saders on here have been labeled as gougers, pathetic really.
13 Nov 2012, 23:33 pm
@Te Rangatira-91:
Oh and I had to reduce my debt, sold the house and could put a little bit more capital in upgrading machinery etc.
13 Nov 2012, 23:48 pm
@Hurricane-92:
yeah yeah yeah…………gougers the lot of them……filthy bastaaards!
13 Nov 2012, 23:49 pm
@whatever-83:
And you think Richard loe was the first to eye gouge??
hahaha i can go back into the early 1960s of eye gouging.
I tell you what,log off, put away the lying dumba$$ faced keyboard you use and buy a new keyboard that tells the truth…… Come to NZ and tell your lies…..
13 Nov 2012, 23:50 pm
and Hurri seriously ………if you want to label the Boks dirty this year because of the Etsebeth/Baldfuk incident then you need to go into kindergaarden teaching.
You will fit in well……
13 Nov 2012, 23:52 pm
@whatever-94:
Thank you for proving my point.
13 Nov 2012, 23:53 pm
@Hurricane-95:
oh ok……how far back do you want to go………………..Kevin Skinner? Further back?
Get off your high horse you d ick, read my post 87 above and get a faaaking life!
13 Nov 2012, 23:53 pm
@whatever-96:
You labeled us dirty cos of Richard loe.
Have you any sense?
13 Nov 2012, 23:58 pm
@Te Rangatira-91:
Sorry Te Rangi, I’m going to move on today, nice chatting, but the girlboy is irritating and getting boring as usual
14 Nov 2012, 00:02 am
@whatever-98:
Yep, i have seen that post and asked where i have said the ABs have not done anything dirty. I know they have.
You had a problem with me putting up what Eddie Jones said and the Ozzies yet Bakkies put up a similar post about the ABs and that seems ok.
I know all teams have there bad eggs. But unlike Bakkies who can class all Kiwis as dirty and scum i think different. I know there are always a couple bad eggs in alot of teams, some of them can control themselves and some cant….end off
14 Nov 2012, 00:03 am
@whatever-100:
Yep, move along, nothing to see here
