Ireland crush Fiji
17 Nov 2012
Ireland scored eight tries as they thrashed Fiji 53-0 in Limerick.
Ireland fielded a second-string line-up, but still managed to cruise past the Pacific Island tourists.
Wing Craig Gilroy was the star of the show, completing a hat-trick in the second half, while fellow speedster Fergus McFadden grabbed a brace. Centres Luke Marshall and Darren Cave, and hooker Sean Cronin also dotted down for the victors.
Flyhalf Paddy Jackson added 13 points via the boot via five conversions and a penalty.

They should ditch the war dance for a rain dance and hope it rains so much that the game gets abandoned

Strangely this was not a capped test match as the Aviva stadium has a clause in its contract with the IRFU that all test matches Ireland plays in Ireland must be at the Aviva and this game was at Thomond.

Gareth,
“Ireland thrashed Fiji 53-0 in Limerick”.
And this is all you can come up with?
This is Limerick. is it not.
The limerick packs laughs anatomical
Into space that is quite economical.
But the good ones I’ve seen
So seldom are clean -
And the clean ones so seldom are comical.
Have your say
