Hore set for hefty ban

Hore set for hefty ban

New Zealand hooker Andrew Hore has been cited for an off-the-ball incident which subsequently hospitalised Wales lock Bradley Davies.

Hore hit Davies off the ball during the initial stages of last Saturday’s Test in Cardiff. The incident was missed by matchday officials, but Hore has now been cited and looks likely to receive a lengthy suspension.

The time and date of the hearing, before the IRB’s appointed independent judicial officer, have yet to be fixed.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen expects the hooker to be sidelined for some time. Hansen did not say as much, but has already called for a replacement ahead of the coming Test against England.

Dane Coles is expected to start at Twickenham.

432 is the root but it goes a little further than that

    Dvapara Yuga = 432,000 Years
Tretayuga (= twice Dvapara Yuga) 864,000 years
Kritayuga (=thrice Dvapara yuga) 1,296,000 years
Kaliyuga (=four times Dvapara Yuga) 1,728,000 years
The four yugas add up to a Mahayuga = (1+2+3+4=10 times Dvapara yuga)
    comprised of 4,320,000 years

71 such Mahayugas with an additional Sandhya, at the close of 1,728,000 years make one Manvantrara of 308,448,000

14 such Manvantaras with another Sandhya, at the close of 1,728,000 years constitute one Kalpa of 4,320,000,000 (1000 maha yugas)

Two Kalpas make a day and night of Brahma
    of 8,640,000,000 (2000 Maha Yugas)

360 such days and nights make one year of
    Brahma consisting of 3,110,400,000,000
100 such years constitute His lifetime of 311,040,000,000,000

So have been thinking….Mandela at 94 years old is really old. So why go to hospital on a Saturday evening if its just for a run of the mill check up. These things would normally happen mid week. I really think the world has a right to be better informed on his status.

Sweet baby jeesus, did anyone watch the Pacquiao Marquez fight tonight? What a brutal 6 rounds. And the Pacman did not see that right – what a shot by the Mexican.

Time to hit the sack.I hope the Titans captain and team can sleep soundly tonight after their disgraceful behaviour at Newlands today. :D . Vilas should have been out caught off the glove when he was on 23 but stood his ground and the umpire did not raise the finger. In the next over, Vilas danced out of his crease and drove the ball back to David Wiese. Before Vilas had made his ground, Wiese threw the ball back and Vilas got into position to block it with his bat.

The Titans appealed for obstruction and, after a lengthy delay, Vilas was given out. Graeme Smith, the national captain who plays for the Cobras but missed the match through injury, called the dismissal a “disgraceful decision setting the wrong precedent,” on Twitter.

The umpire also refused to lift his finger when Vilas caught vd merwe off the bowling of Louw in the last over- it was a huge and “loud” inside nick- cannot believe that umpire Marais Erasmus could not hear that- terrible umpiring all round.

    Shocking really.

However for the poidlefucker to call the titans players cheats is ridiculous.

AB de Villiers was given out in a similar fashion last season when the law was first changed.

Seventy Seven-Test veteran Ali Williams will captain the Blues in 2013.

Blues head coach Sir John Kirwan made the announcement to the team this morning when they assembled for the first official day of pre-season training.

The second most experienced player in the 2013 Blues squad with 101 Super Rugby caps, Williams takes the reins from Keven Mealamu who has extended his leave and relinquished the captaincy to allow someone to lead from the start.

I wouldn’t call it cheating as it is now a written rule. It is however a rule that most teams would not apply if it did happen. Being a semi-final I guess the pressure of the game made the Titans apply it. I also have to say some of the umpiring was really poor, especially from Marais Erasmus. A few decisions that were clearly out, yet he ignored them.

    Buon giorno!

Vilas was given out obstruction of the field, for taking evasive action when the bowler through the ball back at him. He was not in his crease at the time. The law says you may no longer obstruct the field. It was felt that he would have been hit if he didn’t play the ball, but instead was given out. The law is the law. In the spirit of the game it is a law that you wouldn’t really apply.

Interestingly AB de Villiers was given out last season just after the law came into effect.

I don’t think it’s in the same category as running out the non striker for backing up too early.
