Hore set for hefty ban
26 Nov 2012
New Zealand hooker Andrew Hore has been cited for an off-the-ball incident which subsequently hospitalised Wales lock Bradley Davies.
Hore hit Davies off the ball during the initial stages of last Saturday’s Test in Cardiff. The incident was missed by matchday officials, but Hore has now been cited and looks likely to receive a lengthy suspension.
The time and date of the hearing, before the IRB’s appointed independent judicial officer, have yet to be fixed.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen expects the hooker to be sidelined for some time. Hansen did not say as much, but has already called for a replacement ahead of the coming Test against England.
Dane Coles is expected to start at Twickenham.

@katman-11197:
I’d have gone with the syph defence.
It’s worked for Mad Bob for years.
10 Dec 2012, 09:45 am
@Gumboots-11198: But you get to celebrate alllllllllll the big ones it seems
The Stormers win at Loftus…….the Cobras possible win at the Bull ring…..etc etc
Must make up for it in some small way.

@gunther-11196:
How can anyone be called cheats when it is in the laws of the game… I know most of the Titan players and they are top class guys…

@The Sharks rugby pedigree is packaged as dog food-11202:
…and that is where it ends…

@Gumboots-11203:
Indeed Billy indeed.
10 Dec 2012, 10:04 am
@Gumboots-11203:
Many people knew him and thought the same of Hansie ” vat a kansie” Cronje
The Vilas – dismissal was not cheating, but perhaps just bad sportsmanship although I am not sure if that is still a relevant concept in the modern era.
Long live Adam Gillchrist.

@Gumboots-11191: @gunther-11196: Hi guys, yes I guess it was perhaps not too “sportsman like” behaviour, but the way Wnnb carried on last night about the “Cheating Afrikaners of Pretoria” was way over the top. He just couldn’t stop the verbal bs !!
10 Dec 2012, 10:07 am
@CharlesM-11207:
People get carried away with hype!!! I ignore it…
10 Dec 2012, 10:09 am
@CharlesM-11207: Some of us were enjoying a “nice quiet Sunday evening” on the thread discussing mostly cricket when Wnnb appeared and started his tirade !! We all tried to get the 11000 (I was 11002) but I left as soon as 11000 was reached: I did not want to engage someone who seems to be filled with hatred for Afrikaners of Pretoria !! Apparently you can smell the cheating in their DNA when walking past them. I’m still waiting on a reply about this distinct smell !!
10 Dec 2012, 10:10 am
@CharlesM-11209:
Is that the smell I’m getting?
10 Dec 2012, 10:10 am
@Gumboots-11208: I should have ignored it but after a while it got really annoying
10 Dec 2012, 10:11 am
@Gumboots-11210: You are close to the action, so it must be the smell you are getting (LOL)
10 Dec 2012, 10:11 am
@CharlesM-11211:
Have you not identified the ‘trolls’ yet?
10 Dec 2012, 10:12 am
@CharlesM-11211:
It’s par for the course I’m afraid.
I think a Boerboel had its way with him in his youth.
10 Dec 2012, 10:12 am
@Gumboots-11213: I did but unfortunately I got carried away (especially after the loss in the Sevens). I’ll try and restrain myself next time
10 Dec 2012, 10:14 am
@gunther-11214: poor Boerboel !!
10 Dec 2012, 10:14 am
Dane has very good reflexes and did well to get a bat on that ball. I wonder if he is related to guillermo who also used to have excellent reflexes
10 Dec 2012, 10:16 am
@gunther-11214:
Here used to be a blogger called Boerboel on Keo.
He was quite a clever bloke, a stormer suporter too
10 Dec 2012, 10:16 am
@Robzim-11217: Guillermo also had a love for the white powder as far as I can recall.
Like I said last night I’ll bring Dane or Quinton De Kock into the national setup. In that way AB can move to the covers again and we’ll have another good batsman / wicketkeeper. I don’t think Elgar is the long term solution at 6
10 Dec 2012, 10:17 am
@Robzim-11218: What an unusual combination. Fascinating.
10 Dec 2012, 10:19 am

@Heavens Game-11221:
And here I thought you didn’t care……silly me. You’re the poor man’s version of Skop.
I do think post 666 would be a far truer reflection of your self alleged ‘greatness’.
10 Dec 2012, 10:24 am
@katman-11220: I know. Boerboels and Keo, who woudda thunk it?

@Gumboots-11184:
howdy bill…
sorry been busy…
so if the ball had hit his body would he have still been out…? who was the bowler/thrower and was he just bukking/shying at the wickets or having a serious run-out attempt…?
and what was the mood/verbals on the filed at the time between batters and fielders…?
and what does the law say about the player getting hit or his bat being hit when running seriously to beat the run-out throw…? happens quite often…
so would we use the technology available to see if the ball would have hit the stumps if the player/bat had not been hit…? or is it as simple as fielder shys at wicket… batter in way… batter out…?
seems a very silly rule to me and unnecessarily overly complicating a situation that didn’t need to be… basically making it impossible for the batter to make his ground…?
anyone know why the rulle was brought it and motivated by who/what…?
@nortierd-11192:
keeping the kudos innie kaap… (even if you live in funoria…
)
10 Dec 2012, 10:28 am
@gunther-11226: And Katman doesn’t trust clever Stormers supporters

@gunther-11201: lol
10 Dec 2012, 10:30 am
@The Sharks rugby pedigree is packaged as dog food-11224: Looks like anyone can pretend to “care”… Especially in this period of boring inanity on Keo…

11111… Only one… Ever.

10 Dec 2012, 10:32 am
@The Sharks rugby pedigree is packaged as dog food-11229: That’s harsh. I never said I don’t trust them. If I ever meet one, I’ll form an opinion.

So your point is? And I’m not interested in the Rain queen’s/Mayan’s/Gnomes who live at the bottom of the garden/Jeffrey Dahmer’s reasons as to why ’1′ is a more valuable or relevant number.

@The Sharks rugby pedigree is packaged as dog food-11229:
I don’t think he’s ever met one.

you are ruining my mojito.
10 Dec 2012, 10:37 am
@katman-11234: Most of my Stormer supporting brethren are intelligent, so I’ve met plenty of those.
What I haven’t managed to stumble across in the world of Stormer supporters, is a humble one
(and I include myself

@gunther-11238: I was born with the helmet of vision.

@The Sharks rugby pedigree is packaged as dog food-11235: There’s been plenty 1000′ on Keo, and probably more than a couple of 2000 or even 3000′s… Its the 000′s see – most have seen them…
But never a 11111 ever… And never will see again…
10 Dec 2012, 10:42 am
@Heavens Game-11237: Skop is original. You are a poor imitation. (One of those ‘America’s Got talent’ wannabes who perform a series of ‘majik’ tricks that everyone has seen before AND managed to dig up the dope on ‘how it is done’.)
10 Dec 2012, 10:42 am
@ufo-11233: Clever.Did not notice.A “D”
immediately comes to mind.Anyway,Hope you are well
10 Dec 2012, 10:43 am
@Heavens Game-11241: I doubt there has been an 8000 or 9000 or 10000 on Keo either.
Unique is unique.

Look Dimwits………………………………………….lets get this shiit sorted.
-The thousand posts are the most Esteemed.
Without Question.
-Next come the defacto Dragon posts………………..1001, 2001, 3001 etc………………………………………… But only if the word dragon is mentioned in the post. A most difficult thing to achieve given the frenzy of activity at the time.
- Then come the mid-way thousand posts……………….1500, 2500 etc.
- Then lastly the shiit HG is talking about.
However, sometime in the near future,
as katman has pointed out,
the 12345,
is coming.
And that Ladies and Non-Ladies, is The Holy Grail.
10 Dec 2012, 10:46 am
@The Sharks rugby pedigree is packaged as dog food-11244:
Absolutely.
In fact 11246 is well ………………………………………………………….a one of a kind.
10 Dec 2012, 10:46 am
@The Sharks rugby pedigree is packaged as dog food-11239: Perhaps, but intelligence is such a subjective description. I’ve met Stormers supporters who have no problem in using a knife and fork or even a hair dryer, and who consider this intelligent. And it is, when you compare it to a gecko or a pigeon or a sloth. But come would consider that pretty basic. Depends on what you’re used to, I guess.
10 Dec 2012, 10:47 am
come = some, of course.
10 Dec 2012, 10:48 am
@cane-11245: Shut it, caner. That one is mine. Don’t stir that sht up now.
10 Dec 2012, 10:50 am
@ryecatcher-11243:
always good thanks rye… how’re you doing…?
