Hore set for hefty ban
26 Nov 2012
New Zealand hooker Andrew Hore has been cited for an off-the-ball incident which subsequently hospitalised Wales lock Bradley Davies.
Hore hit Davies off the ball during the initial stages of last Saturday’s Test in Cardiff. The incident was missed by matchday officials, but Hore has now been cited and looks likely to receive a lengthy suspension.
The time and date of the hearing, before the IRB’s appointed independent judicial officer, have yet to be fixed.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen expects the hooker to be sidelined for some time. Hansen did not say as much, but has already called for a replacement ahead of the coming Test against England.
Dane Coles is expected to start at Twickenham.

no they don’t.. if they did they would chuck this infantile infatuated attachment to their merciless barbaric crusade for crucifying truth and killing natures own creatures in the name of their fake false godforsaken excuse of a pagan ritualized romanticized religion down the church cheering toilet where such outright heathen hankerings for merciless crusades of inhumane killing belong…

Nowadays anything goes it seems…We see people including foreigners getting a moko that they don’t really know its significance. If you were to see a picture of a chief with his moko, every line has a meaning, where his father and mother are from, his rank, occupation, his grandparents rank and deeds, what authority he has over certain areas….fascinating stuff

TR, I remember during the WC watching a documentary and seeing some of the touring supporters getting tattoos by the Maori artists, and I was thinking that it doesn’t look right and wont have the same meaning.
Glad to see you feel the same way

Skop, i dont know whether its ok to say this on a public blog but i genuinely think you should get yourself checked out medically. you know, like a routine checkup of sorts and perhaps even a mental health assesment too.
there is nothing wrong with doing that as one gets older and is an indication of the natural cycle of life.
i say this because i sometimes worry that you are showing possible signs of some or other early onset illness, mental perhaps but possibly even physical..?..
you never know Skop.

these other idiots are clearly just trolling for kicks but in your case i worry that such sustained anger and intolerant behaviour could be masking a possible health issue.
you should go for a checkup.

Have to feel sorry for Brendon Mcullum seems a decent bloke and really on a hiding to nothing lots of courage to bat first with an untried line up but dont think it would have mattered! inexperienced team facing the best the world has to offer at the moment so head up and make a contest of it.

@i_love_u_bakkiesbotha-20522:

I wont put a Chinese symbol on either, you never know what they really write.
maybe you get to China one day and everyone laughs at you for having ” I am a dic.khead” wtitten on you and all the while you were under the impression it meant peace, love and joy.
The Maori symbols look very cool on them, but it has a deeper meaning as well, something that will be lost on my pasty white ars.e if I just want it to look cool, just the way I look at it.
3 Jan 2013, 07:43 am
@nortierd-20526: It’s the same as me, can you imagine how stupid I’d look with a Bulls one on my lilly-white ars.e?

i hear you, but there’s been a few articles in the nz press which hasn’t been too flattering of Mcullum and his part in the whole Taylor saga.
just saying.

US gun fans stock up on assault rifles – weeks after massacre left 27 dead
Huge jump in demand for AR-15 rifle used in horror attack on school
HUNDREDS of American firearms fans stock up on deadly assault weapons at an arms fair – just weeks after 27 were shot to death in a brutal massacre.
Gun loner Adam Lanza’s vicious attack on a primary school in Newtown, Connecticut, left 20 children and seven women dead on December 14.
But despite widespread calls to ban assault weapons like the one used in the bloodbath, vendors at last weekend’s sale in Chantilly, Virginia, reported record sales.

There use to be a trade in Nz during the early 1800s to the 1830s I think, where English traders would acquire mokomokai or preserved tattooed heads. Usually these were traded for muskets. The heads of ones enemies were preserved(smoked) and was an ancient custom. Yet when the demand for these heads became so great, some Maori chiefs would tattoo their slaves meaningless moko, kill them and preserve their heads in order to get weapons. The trade in mokomokai was eventually banned by the British Government. Now these heads can be found in many Museums around the world especially Europe. Some have been returned to their people through the tribal identification in the moko

Cape Town – A final decision regarding the playing future of Springbok flank Juan Smith will now only be made at the end on January.
According to the Volksblad website, the 31-year-old – who has missed most of the last two seasons due to an Achilles injury – will decide at the end of this month on his rugby future.

45 all out! McCullum shattered after nightmare day
Shattered New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum put his team’s disastrous opening day batting tumble down to a combination of poor batting and world class bowling.
Having won the toss, New Zealand were rolled for just 45, their third lowest total, in 19.2 overs, effectively handing the test to South Africa.

Media, Twitter react to ‘clueless’ Black Caps
The New Zealand Cricket team’s woeful batting display in South Africa has prompted ridicule from the cricketing world, and despair from Black Caps faithful.
The Brendan McCullum-led Kiwis stumbled to 45 at Newlands – New Zealand’s third lowest test score – and only faced 19.2 overs – the shortest completed innings in the side’s history.
ESPN’s Cricinfo described the Kiwis’ batting against the world number one test team as “clueless”.
“New Zealand were expected to be overwhelmed. They were expected to struggle. They were expected to get taught a thing or two. But they were not expected to be this bad,” Firdose Moonda wrote.

@nortierd-20537:
Yep..those were days of survival of the fittest and fastest…
On another note, I have no problems with people getting a taa moko as long as the artist informs the person receiving the tattoo the actual meaning. These artists need to make a living ,and if they are thats a good thing.
3 Jan 2013, 08:20 am
The Manawatu Standard’s editor pointed out a certain Aussie cricketer was reported to be able to drink more than the Kiwis scored.
“Match referee David Boon drank more cans of beer on a flight to The UK than the #BlackCaps scored runs in the first Innings,” Michael Cummings wrote.
3 Jan 2013, 08:21 am
Not surprisingly, the Aussies couldn’t help but have a dig.
“Sad when a side doesnt bat out its 20 overs. even sadder when its a test match,” Wide World of Sports commentator Andrew Voss wrote.
“Maybe new zealand have a rotation system with their batting. rather than change test to test, they do it every few overs.”
Meanwhile New Zealand’s favourite South African comedienne Urzila Carlson was enjoying the Proteas’ dominance.
“Boundary! SA needs to tighten this s*** up!” she wrote following one of New Zealand’s few fours.
“SA should declare now, keep it interesting,” she said shortly into South Africa’s reply.

human traditional attachment to rites and rituals and ceremonious traditions is what bind them in superstitious dehumanized depravity from what being human should encompass
barbarism is a part and parcel of human evolutionary condition.. but if the human being cannot evolve out of his conditioned state of ritualistic attachment to incurring untold death suffering and destruction on either his fellow man or any sentient conscious being then he has no right to call himself the custodian of civilization or the highest form of intelligence of biological creation.

@Te Rangatira-20545:
yeah, that’s another way of looking at it.
Work is work and they are artists, not just someone who slaps a tattoo on some bored housewives butt.
