Hore set for hefty ban

New Zealand hooker Andrew Hore has been cited for an off-the-ball incident which subsequently hospitalised Wales lock Bradley Davies.

Hore hit Davies off the ball during the initial stages of last Saturday’s Test in Cardiff. The incident was missed by matchday officials, but Hore has now been cited and looks likely to receive a lengthy suspension.

The time and date of the hearing, before the IRB’s appointed independent judicial officer, have yet to be fixed.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen expects the hooker to be sidelined for some time. Hansen did not say as much, but has already called for a replacement ahead of the coming Test against England.

Dane Coles is expected to start at Twickenham.

    @Dawn-23612: I don’t think this will last ;) It only takes one sh y te decision by a Kiwi ref…..or a ‘dodgy’ win by a Kiwi team in Round 1 or 2 and any negative feelings towards the Stormers will disappear (faster than ET when ‘online idealistic struggle talk’ gets real in his streets)

    Dustin Hoffman thought it was too violent.

    Garner – a Korean War veteran and Purple Heart recipient – did not want to portray a character who comes home from Vietnam and then kills cops.

    Initially, the script called for Rambo to commit suicide at the end of the movie (as happens in the book by David Morell). But screenings to test audiences found it too depressing, so they made him love, thus resulting in a number of truly horrendous sequels.

    But the role saved Stallone’s acting career. Mind you, he got hurt a lot of times during the filming, doing his own stunts mostly.

    There’s one scene where he falls and screams out in pain, that’s not fake since he actually broke a rib. In the mineshaft scene, he put his hand down on a squib that then went off severely injuring his hand.
