Hore set for hefty ban

New Zealand hooker Andrew Hore has been cited for an off-the-ball incident which subsequently hospitalised Wales lock Bradley Davies.

Hore hit Davies off the ball during the initial stages of last Saturday’s Test in Cardiff. The incident was missed by matchday officials, but Hore has now been cited and looks likely to receive a lengthy suspension.

The time and date of the hearing, before the IRB’s appointed independent judicial officer, have yet to be fixed.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen expects the hooker to be sidelined for some time. Hansen did not say as much, but has already called for a replacement ahead of the coming Test against England.

Dane Coles is expected to start at Twickenham.

I personally prefer to take ONLY one shot!

You have to commit to one shot, some guys take 2 or 3 shots – not my style.

The HOT TOPIC of the DAY!

As another long W Cape workday slowly closes so the white-owned economy earns another sad black eye from and within the global economy.
No truths I can presently write can do as much damage to this white economy of supposedly free, democratic S.Africa than the unbiased truthful words of a U.K. representative of a globally well-respected economic alliance organisation :

    Jan. 14 2013

“………… Peter McAllister, the UK-based director of Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), said on Friday that the organisation was concerned about the farm worker unrest and was monitoring the situation.

ETI is an alliance of companies, trade unions and NGOs aimed at improving “the working lives of poor and vulnerable people across the globe who make or grow consumer goods” Its corporate members include retailers Tesco, Waitrose, Asda and Marks & Spencer’s.

McAllister said the protests were underpinned by complex and DEEP-ROOTED issues.

“It is clear that this sector cannot continue to develop unless WORKERS FEEL THEY can properly engage with management to agree SUITABLE WAGE levels, benefits and conditions. This is NOT THE CASE currently, which is part of the UNDERLYING PROBLEM.”

McAllister urged all the stakeholders in the value chain to consider what constructive role they could play.

“These businesses need to consider how value in the supply chain is shared, to ensure the sector is sustainable and provides decent work for those on farms, in processing units and in shipping.”

He said ETI was in contact with its member supermarkets who sourced from the Western Cape as well as trade unions and NGO partners in South Africa. He said all of them were following developments closely.” FINIS!

You all heard the “sticks and stones” rhyme,? Thus be advised to deal with the reality and the facts, since early November 2012 if not before.

“If you believe in freedom,it’s dying.”

To much to do to little time for it as opposed to YOUR common “too much to steal , not enough time to do so”
