Hore set for hefty ban

New Zealand hooker Andrew Hore has been cited for an off-the-ball incident which subsequently hospitalised Wales lock Bradley Davies.

Hore hit Davies off the ball during the initial stages of last Saturday’s Test in Cardiff. The incident was missed by matchday officials, but Hore has now been cited and looks likely to receive a lengthy suspension.

The time and date of the hearing, before the IRB’s appointed independent judicial officer, have yet to be fixed.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen expects the hooker to be sidelined for some time. Hansen did not say as much, but has already called for a replacement ahead of the coming Test against England.

Dane Coles is expected to start at Twickenham.

    Christchurch – All Blacks captain Richie McCaw and Black Sticks star Gemma Flynn are apparently dating.

    According to the Stuff website, Flynn, 22, who plays striker, competed at the London Olympic Games last year, and was also at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

    Curiously, Flynn lists All Black legend Christian Cullen and former South African netball great Irene van Dyk as her sporting inspirations.

    The report comes a month after McCaw, 32, was rumoured to be dating an English woman, who is a friend of the Duchess of Cambridge, and organises high-priced *** parties.

    McCaw said in a conversation with former All Blacks coach Sir Graham Henry on RadioLive last year that he was single.

    He jokingly told Henry he would be happy for him to advertise for girlfriends and put them through a screening process.

    I have a similar problem. Please don’t tell Skop, but Father Christmas brought me a new BlackBerry last month and coming from the Old School I like to have any instructions next to me as opposed to looking it up on the device itself. I received a small “getting started” manual with the phone and when I first went onto the net at work (thinking of sneaking a “quick print of a couple of pages”) I saw that the damn thing was in excess of 500 pages! Out of respect to Tree, I decided there and then that it would not be wise to go near the “print” function!

    Now when I eventually get round to RTFMing (Reading The Farking Manual) it’s going to take a very looooooooooong time to learn how to use the phone.

    Sure, some of them (Guppies) are not worthy of the Team they support.

    But others……………………………………like the vanquished Puma, Sharks Lover and Sharks girl were among the very best of Keo Posters.

    And yes Fernly and HG do damage the over-all respectabililty of the Fishies.

    Spooner…………………………………..he has a heart that is true to the black and whites.
