Hore set for hefty ban

Hore set for hefty ban

New Zealand hooker Andrew Hore has been cited for an off-the-ball incident which subsequently hospitalised Wales lock Bradley Davies.

Hore hit Davies off the ball during the initial stages of last Saturday’s Test in Cardiff. The incident was missed by matchday officials, but Hore has now been cited and looks likely to receive a lengthy suspension.

The time and date of the hearing, before the IRB’s appointed independent judicial officer, have yet to be fixed.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen expects the hooker to be sidelined for some time. Hansen did not say as much, but has already called for a replacement ahead of the coming Test against England.

Dane Coles is expected to start at Twickenham.

    well done Bafana
    some squeaky bum stuff defense wise but well saved by Kune (fake injury time wasting notwithstanding).
    everything to play for now.

    Igesund needs to mull over his defenders, some very poor tactical dispositions/situational awareness.

    So here it is.
    South Africa #1 cricket….. Football nope…..Rugby nope.
    Simple

    Lol and there is no chance of NZ attaining no. 1 in cricket or soccer any time soon, so what’s your point?

  • 27206.Hurricane: Reply to this comment

    @Liewe Luiperd-27205:
    My point?
    I believe it was you that bought it up.
    Just stating facts.
    We know NZ will never be great footballers or cricket players….. our game is Rugby.
    But we do go out of our way to disrupt in cricket once in a while…
    And it was good to see the under dogs get a win in the one dayers the other night…stop a white wash :-)

    bafana were absolutely shite in the air but boy when they kept the ball on the ground they looked really good.

    that khune is a legend.

    and the crowd seem to have a replacement chant for “fiiiiiiiiiiiiish” from 1996, now its “deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaan” every time furman touched the ball.

    great crowd, wonderful atmosphere and an occassion i will remember for a long time, broadened my horizons and i strongly recommend it to all my rugby brothersand sistas.

    Sorry I could not post a link but this gives a accurate idea of the cost of living in NZ.

  • 27240.Fern: Reply to this comment

    R19 for a bread
    R56 for a 500ml draught
    These prices I got by using a exchange rate of R8 to one NZ$.
    NZ looks to be very expensive compared to SA.

    @Fern-27240:
    yes, it does seem expensve.
    perhaps some measure of average income would be good in order to get an idea of how much they earn as this would be relative to their cost of living?

  • 27244.Fern: Reply to this comment

    @i_love_u_bakkiesbotha-27243:
    At the bottom there is a avg income and for SA it is set at R15 000/m which is a bit too high in my opinion,but the rest of the prices are accurate.

  • 27245.i_love_u_bakkiesbotha: Reply to this comment

    @Fern-27244:
    sorry, i overlooked it, thanks.

    if the average NZ’er earns 3000 NZ$ then i would think the cost of living certainly is higher for them. home/property rental is a big portion of the average salary.

    yes, i agree R15000 is probably to high an average salary for SA.

    Tomatoes are more like NZ$5 in summer and NZ$12 in winter. Milk is only about NZ$1.80/L

    Another thing that is missing is the cheapness of Japanese imported 2nd hand vehicles due to there being no import duties.
