Hore set for hefty ban

Hore set for hefty ban

New Zealand hooker Andrew Hore has been cited for an off-the-ball incident which subsequently hospitalised Wales lock Bradley Davies.

Hore hit Davies off the ball during the initial stages of last Saturday’s Test in Cardiff. The incident was missed by matchday officials, but Hore has now been cited and looks likely to receive a lengthy suspension.

The time and date of the hearing, before the IRB’s appointed independent judicial officer, have yet to be fixed.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen expects the hooker to be sidelined for some time. Hansen did not say as much, but has already called for a replacement ahead of the coming Test against England.

Dane Coles is expected to start at Twickenham.

As far as i can remember Jannie had official approval to do some marketing in his free time during the tour.He was also described by the New Zealanders as the best springbok manager of all time (Jannie is extremely charasmatic and obviously made a huge impression on them)

I believe he has made up with his son after quite a long battle. His son (Jean) eventually went into partnership with Ernie Els (wine industry)- not sure how that turned out.

The deal with Newscorp was for the creation os Sanzar for USD 550 mio. Which was agreed upon.

Which allowed for the start of Super rugby and the Tri-Nations. Louis Luyt had his son in on the final negotiations – purely for on-the-job training.

Our Louis then pushed the price to USD 555 mio. When asked later why he wanted the extra USD 5 mio. He replied “just to prove I can, and to teach my son never settle on the final figure.”

    That’s our Louis.

@I am a stormer-27967: After his appearance in the Pretoria High
Court, Mandela said he still had
    misgivings about being subpoenaed to
    appear in court.

“I have grave reservations about the
order (subpoena), but we have to obey
the constitution because it does not give
immunity to a president or anybody else,”
    he told reporters.

    On Thursday, Mandela clashed with
SARFU lawyer Mike Maritz, accusing him
of trying to portray the president as a
    liar.

On Friday Mandela charged: “Mr. Maritz
is an expert in distorting what was said.
    He is twisting me . . . .”

    However, Mandela’s avuncular side was
also in evidence as he warmly greeted
SAFRU’s legal team and spent some time
    with Luyt in seemingly light-hearted
    conversation in the courtroom.

He admitted after his appearance that he
had expected to be grilled, but the
lawyers had made his testimony more
    comfortable.

“They make it easy, even though the
    cross-examination is gruelling,” said
Mandela, who stood throughout his six-
    hour testimony.

skittle sticks is for the birds.. whoever get their frilly lace panties in a knot about that nonentity of a sport code don’t have much clue about what sporting excellence is actually about.. its a soft sport for soft heads and soft bodies.. it don’t take much class to be a top rate skittle sticks player there are far more stringent and exacting sport codes that leave that sissy sport in the shade.
