Farrell starts for England

Owen Farrell will start at flyhalf in place of the injured Toby Flood as England make one change for Saturday’s Test New Zealand.

Flood’s toe injury, sustained against the Springboks last weekend, means 21-year-old Farrell, runs on for only the second time this year. Freddie Burns covers flyhalf from the bench, while in the only other change Courtney Lawes is included on the bench in place of Mouritz Botha

England - 15. Alex Goode, 14. Chris Ashton, 13. Manusamoa Tuilagi, 12. Brad Barritt, Mike Brown, 10. Owen Farrell, 9. Ben Youngs, 8. Ben Morgan, 7. Chris Robshaw, 6. Tom Wood, 5. Geoff Parling, 4. Joe Launchbury, 3. Dan Cole, 2. Tom Youngs, 1. Alex Corbisiero.
Subs: 16. David Paice (London Irish, 5 caps), 17. David Wilson (Bath Rugby, 22 caps), 18. Mako Vunipola (Saracens, 3 caps), 19. Courtney Lawes (Northampton Saints, 14 caps), 20. James Haskell (London Wasps, 44 caps), 21. Danny Care (Harlequins, 36 caps), 22. Freddie Burns (Gloucester Rugby, uncapped), 23. Jonathan Joseph (London Irish, 3 caps)

@Hurricane-3: that’ll explain the 5 votes for him on the poll. second five, centre, 2 wings and a fullback. Hoping like hell he’ll pass them the ball on Saturday in return for their votes

I like this Farrel chap, still very young. They need to keep playing him so he can ggrow, Flood has hit his ceiling he will never get any better!!

All England can do is pull the ABs into a forward struggle and try to smother then

@race of tan-8: Farrell is the English Morne Steyn, slightly better tackler, but worse kicker. He offers nothing with ball in hand at all. England actually has plenty of better fly halves then him, but Daddy is coach. England back line with Tuilagi, Barret and Farrell will do absolutely nothing but kick and bash.

Its a catch 22 for me.
Always want SH teams to smash NH teams. Its a rule. Simple as.
So yes, AB’s have my support.

BUT, if Aus win, we drop to 3rd, and they reclaim 2nd…..
Sorry Aus, but tomorrow I support Wales.

Everyone in England is shocked Owen Farrell is

He’s not a fly half he’s an inside centre thats where he plays for club who’s supposed to have “amazing distribution skills”

At least Freddie Burns is on the bench he’s a real xfactor fly half

@john123-14: I agree, Burns is the man.. he is a good player. I saw him at U20′s and he had the prowess then.
Farrell plays because of his old man being an ex-player.

Farrell is not a talented player.. He’s a Morne Steyn that tackles.

England should win easily – Will Farrell is like the best rugby player in the world or something!

I actually feel a bit sorry for the young lad coz let’s face it he must be feeling pretty embarrassed. I mean I can just imagine John Eales insisting on there being zero Boks on the list, but Jeez this is a step too far !!

Watch this IRB “player of the year” nominee get his *** handed to him, bloody farce.

Bullet – Wales have the ability and players to beat Australia, it is whether they believe they can do it!!
Also it is time to give Hook a start at flyhalf he has that x fator and mongrel needed.
Wales keep getting themselves into good try scoring positions with an overlap and then seem to get tryline nerves and go through the middle!!!

Also Mike Philipes needs to be dropped for that knew scrum half, mongrel of note, very good player!! Philips is toooooo flippin slow!!!

‘DERE MLAEN CYMRE’ (COME ON WALES)
