Williams to lead Blues

Williams to lead Blues

All Blacks lock Ali Williams has been named the new captain of the Blues ahead of the 2013 Super Rugby season.

Williams replaces another All Black in Keven Mealamu, who has decided to follow Richie McCaw’s lead in taking a sabbatical from the game. New Blues coach John Kirwan appointed Williams on Monday.

Apart from representing New Zealand in 77 Tests, Williams has 101 Super Rugby caps to his name.

C’mon Ali. Maybe this move will re-ignite your passion for the game.

The Blues are not going to be as kak as what some might be thinking (hoping).

    I have faith!!!!!
