Bad call for SA to get the Mendoza venue again – Pumas have never lost there.

JB we just put 50 past the Argies, surely you can take them anywhere in Argie land?

You would think so but your memory is short – I saw a Jerry Collins-led AB side, not that long ago, with all of them including Dan Carter survive the last 10 minutes on their own line to hold out for 25-19 in BA. Seriously mate, that game was hard from beginning to end (“a good workout” as Jerry called it afterwards) with Pumas on top at the end – but they are still building their self-belief, which the AB’s have always got as their trump card.

The Pumas are Latins and similar to the French in blowing hot and cold – they, like the Boks, played better in NZ last year than they did at home – plus, they have never lost at Mendoza – it’s their House of Pain. That Mendoza crowd is fanatic and don’t stop – they were beaten by Ireland but I back them to beat Ireland 6/10. Besides – Boks are erratic also – we both know that. It won’t be easy.

LOL! Agreed! NZ almost lost to them at home. :)

Was just a game too many for the new team.

JB.Cooper – My biggest worry is the style of rugby the Boks were playing last year and if they are going to start incorporating a more rounded style of rugby this year.
I don’t think i can handle another year of trompie rugby! Last year was the most boring Bok team i have ever seen, even more boring than PDVs!!

Let’s give them a chance and see how they do this year. Take stock at the end of the year – they’re No. 2 in World ratings – can’t be that bad.
