Bismarck eyes April return
20 Jan 2013
Injured Springbok hooker Bismarck du Plessis expects to be back in action for the Sharks in three months’ time.
Du Plessis, who tore knee ligaments against Argentina at Newlands last August, told Rapport on Sunday that while the Sharks don’t want to set a date for his return, they are looking at mid- to late-April.
‘On an emotional level it is difficult to be burdened with this kind of injury,’ he added. ‘But I could see my parents often, which was a blessing as my father is sick.
‘The worst was having to stay inside the house while I was on my farm for five weeks. I couldn’t be myself and get my hands dirty and breathe in the fresh air.’

Probably the most crucial Bok player if we want to beat those damn Kiwis…..along with Flo or Brussow……
Get well Bissy…

Bissie will be ready to rock when he gets back on the field.
An upside to it is that he will miss the two games against the Stormers and save himself the ignominy of being put on his backside again.

If he returns in 3 months, they’ll take him on their overseas tour. Not a great way to bring back an injured player – especially such a crucial one.
Might as well keep him in SA until the Sharks home-game against the Bulls on 25th of May.
