Force to tackle Brumbies, Tonga

The Western Force will play against the Brumbies and a Tongan Select XV as part of their pre-season preparation for Super Rugby.

The Force will play their first match under new management against the Brumbies in Darwin on 1 February. Their pre-season schedule will then conclude with a clash against the Tongans in Perth on 8 February.

The Tongan Select XV will be made up of players who are not contracted to the national side. Tongans from Australia, New Zealand, and Tonga itself will be eligible.

The Force begin their Super Rugby campaign with a match against the Rebels in Melbourne on 15 February.
