SBW survives late White Buffalo onslaught

SBW survives late White Buffalo onslaught

Sonny Bill Williams beat Francois Botha on points in Brisbane after the boxing bout was controversially reduced from 12 to 10 rounds during the fight.

The former All Blacks centre was hanging on by a thread in what turned out to be the last round and would almost certainly have lost if another two rounds had been allowed.

The judges awarded the fight to Williams 97-91, 98-94 and 97-91.

‘I love Sonny Bill, but this is bullshit,’ Botha said afterwards. ‘I beat him hands free!’

Earlier, Wallabies flyhalf Quade Cooper won his first professional fight in a first-round knockout of Australian Barry Dunnett.

There will be repeats of both fights on SuperSport at 3pm (SS5) and 7pm (SS1).

perhaps SA sport isnt as clean and transparent as youve tried to make out fckwit

best start with your schools huh, and maybe the parents to, teach them of the consequences of doping, seeing as they encourage it huh?

Phentermine, a contraction of “phenyl-tertiary-butylamine”, is a psychostimulant drug of the phenethylamine class, with pharmacology similar to amphetamine. It is used medically as an appetite suppressant.

a psychostimulant? no wonder he claims he didnt know the fight was reduced to 10 rounds before it started, to hopped up to probably even know where he was..

@i_love_u_bakkiesbotha-752: botha doped in 96, it didnt stop you backing him up until the news broke of his lastest positive result…you in fact are linking his positive result to NZ defrauding the test results, as shown below.

“i say test him again, independently.
if a neutral lab shows similar results then yes, he is a doos for doping.

Kiwis have proved themselves untrustworthy all too often.”

    you need serious help Bakkies..

@the curse-751: I would say that the parents are one of the main culprits here. Here it’s basically a case of trying to compensate for your failure as a sportsperson by pumping your children full of performance enhancing products hoping that they are successful. That seems to be the easy way out than to achieve success by real old fashioned hard work.Unfortunately these practises are very much prevalent in the Afrikaner community .

seems doping is so commonplace in SA sport that it is endemic

I say SA should be banned from international sport until they get their act together and clean up their game.

they make the Aussies seem like angels where drugs in sport are concerned..

disgraceful and embarassing for SA as a whole

just how many other SA “legends” are dope fraud cheats?

ELEVEN South African Athletes were suspended for doping offenses during 2012.

This is a very high number for a single country and indicates a serious problem with both a lack of awareness of the dangers of using such substances and also an element of dishonesty in some cases. What makes the numbers worse is that there are still six outstanding cases awaiting finalisation.

Both sides bullshitting frauds. They are conmen of the type usually exposed by TV journos. The mug punters who pay good money to be led around by the nose can only blame themselves for ignoring the past scams of these operators. They will continue to paddle around on the fringes of the sport trawling for the fools who will buy their special brand of snake oil.

but admit it, it was rather hypocritical of Saffas to mention Aussies drug problems when your own countries drug problems are so well known?

Bakkies told us SA sport was clean, upstanding and transparent..

doesnt appear that way though does it?

New Zealand has no drug problem.
New Zealand is a humble little island at the bottom of the world who produce some of the finest natural atheletes in the world.

As for South Africa & Australia 2 boiling hot countries were cheating , match fixing and doping are riff.

    # What about our cheating cricket captain crongne.

    # What about when the all blacks were poisoned in the world cup in south africa.
