    Good luck. It would be great to see an RSA v NZL final but Samoa v Fiji would be cool also.

    I am sitting here watching the Oilyish v Opium Pushing Slave Traders, and the French referee is such a Drongo bullied by a Welsh get who is decidedly incompetent. If an AB or Bokke had been playing against either of these two teams and done the nonsense we have seen there would have been two red cards and two yellow. It is only half time!!!! NO cards.

    The Oilyish also have an Oz coach so are they going to be drug tested?

    Gonna be tough to come back from this. Maybe the parachuter’s plane will land on the field and they’ll have to call it a draw

    Cheap shot Kiwi’s. Always resort to dirty tactics when things dont go their way. Well done Bokke.

    Well done to the bokke. I almost never watch 7s and well, I tune in to what must almost be the first time you’ve beaten us in the final. Wasn’t even close!

    Such bizarre results in the 7′s this year, if I did not know better I would have sworn the bookies got involved…

    Blitz bokke were great The best team at Vegas
    At last they were aggressive on defense and really challenged at the breakdown
    The guys beat a tough Canada and Kenya in pool games fairly easy and had to be favorites Samoa in semis
    Then outplayed ABs in Final
    Well done guys

    @Hurricane-18:

    Ja Kiwis even beat SA in cricket :shock:

    But jokes aside, I did not see any of the 7′s this weekend but did watch last weekend, the Boks could hardly pass a ball, let alone catch it and tackling was like open gates. How does a team turn it around in one short week to lead the ABs’ 35 zip at half time?

    hmmm i asked for a look into the one dayers where the kiwis beat the proteas…. thats not right….surely corruption played a part in it :-)

    Yeah but back to the 7′s, the Boks just found the groove. Not much any team could do by the looks of it. Are the boks 7′s equivilent to the french 15′s :-)

    I suspect Ritchie had a hand in the cricket result… :roll:

    Maybe that is it, brilliant but only when they feel like it…I see the hot favorites France now lost 2 in a row saving their best for…well, we will have to wait and see.

    (sorry… I put this in another thread because I thought this was only about the semis…)

    congratulations to the Las Blitzies…!!

    first tournament of the season where they actually played to their potential…

    well done…!

    Well done SA for picking up the Vegas title.

    This result just shows how competitive this competition has become, with any of half a dozen or more teams capable of clicking and running over the opposition.

    It’s anyones guess what will evolve by the time the Olympics roll around.

    For sure though, NZ wont want to go through the choker cycle at the Olympics like we have done this season, winning only one of the 4 finals the team has appeared in this season..

    That said, the ways points awarded over this competition means NZ has steadily increased it lead over the opposition even though we haven’t run out the winner.

    So we could potentially retain the title without winning another tournament this season. That seems wrong somehow!

    @Brads-25:

    Nah Brads, it give the honors to the team who has performed consistantly over the whole tournament, nothing wrong with that. If the AB wheels suddenly comes off and they don’t make the 1/4 or 1/2 in one or two of the remaining tournaments then and only then will their #1 spot be in trouble.

    Okay, fair enough.

    Got to say though, they have come pretty close to missing the second days main draw fixtures.
