Sharks paste Pumas
16 Feb 2013
The Sharks completed Super Rugby preparations in giving the Pumas 50 points.
Frans Steyn’s debut as Sharks captain was memorable for the display of the Sharks as a unit, especially with the impact of the substitutions as the Sharks finished strongly to win 50-19.
The Sharks led early through two tries, then battled a home team fight back at 19-14, and then showed their class in taking control with a crushing last quarter.
The Sharks, without injured captain Keegan Daniel for the first month of the tournament, play the Cheetahs next weekend.

Dusky answer this – the Varsity Cup winners for the last couple of years have been dominated by teams from which province???? Who were the youngsters that single handedly smashed a SB laden Tjarks team in the 2012 CC Final? A WP team filled with UCT players. There isn’t even a KZN Varsity team worthy of competing in the Varsity Cup. How does your foot taste?

@Dusky-99:
It’s true.
None of those kids want to stay in the Eastern Cape where their chances of not being paid for a few months is always hanging over them, while Sheeke’ Twatson and his band of merry idiots run around like headless chickens.

@W.P-101:
The Universities in KZN have become no go areas for serious academics.
Therein lies the problem.

Natal boys prefer soccer that is the real reason that sharkishits have to buy in all their mercenary blood money legionaires from umtata uitenhage east london port elizabeth humansdorp bethlehem virginia cape town krugersdorp bloemfontein welkom paarl vdbijlpark and everywhere else where they grow up playing with oval balls not round balls in their development years.
17 Feb 2013, 09:41 am
And if you like to compare which franchises boasts the most bought in legionaires from other provinces Sharks and Bulls ride the top of the roost where that’s concerned. Sharks have 3 hookers one fly half and two flanks raised and educated in Natal province. All the rest are either from EP GP FS or WP with one from Namibia and one from Zimbabwe.

I support all SA teams in the S15 but of late its become difficult to support the Sharks. Its strange how arrogant supporters can alter one’s opinion. Best of luck to the Guppies. Maybe this year ne…………..

@W.P-106:
Aw come one…it’s only a blog…don’t take life so literally. One day when you’ve matured emotionally you’ll realise that it was all so small in the scheme of things compared to say….death and taxes.
@skopdiekan-105:
Ask those young men now and they’ll say Sheeke’ can stick his son and his crumbling empire where the sun (and son) don’t shine.
‘Show me the Bok jersey!!!’ *said in a very loud shrill voice*

@W.P-101: Hey dimwit – I wasn’t the one that made a statement I couldn’t substantiate. I never claimed that WP didn’t develop good talent at age group level – did I ? In fact I think it was precisely the opposite.
The only d00s here with their foot in their mouth is you – with your 7 Gauteng players in your WP team. Do the Sharks even have 7 imports from any one province ? WP also has their fair share from EP as well.
No need to get defensive – just get your facts straight so you dont get owned by ‘guppies’ like your team do.
17 Feb 2013, 17:00 pm
@W.P-106: Ag – please dont support the Sharks man. Please. We dont need you lady boys supporting us. Do you think I support the mountain moffies ?
17 Feb 2013, 17:01 pm
@skopdiekan-105: How old are you ? 80 ?
17 Feb 2013, 17:05 pm
@skopdiekan-105: Stormers a very close third.
17 Feb 2013, 17:08 pm
@skopdiekan-104: “Natal boys prefer soccer”
Absolute twak.
I should know, I grew up there, went to school there and live there. Soccer is played at the schools but it is a minor sport compared to rugby.
As usual you are far from the truth, and fabricate things to suit your distorted view point.
17 Feb 2013, 17:12 pm
@W.P-106: bro, you should wait until the Sharks play and, woe betide, lose a match. See all the delight from the Stormers here. One even has something to do with the Sharks in her blog name….
So we do not need your (fake) “support” and we will not give you ours. We compete AGAINST each other FFS, enough of this fake support.
17 Feb 2013, 17:22 pm
Don’t you just love this on BBC Football.
1513:
Man City 3-0 Leeds
There are 6,000 Leeds fans in attendance today and they are in good voice. Unfortunately for the Whites they are singing “You’re nothing special – We lose every week.”
17 Feb 2013, 17:24 pm
It’s plain to see that after a several years of Sharks v Bulls the current main rivalry in SA rugby is Sharks v Stormers.
No team I enjoy mine beating more in Super rugby at the moment.
17 Feb 2013, 17:42 pm
How much of those Lions players are on loan Dusky? How much are going back to the Lions? How much will be first choice. We farked your SB laden guppy team with a Varsity Cup team in the CC so we don’t even need these loan players. They’ll be back with the Lions at the end os season. Only Jantjies is assured as first choice. The others add nice depth. You could always use the Lions imports as an excuse when we beat you guys again this year.
17 Feb 2013, 17:46 pm
@W.P-116: “when we beat you guys again this year.”
We beat you twice last year, the last two games.
We have beaten you 7 out of the last 10 Super rugby games.
We dominate you.
Keep dreaming bru.
17 Feb 2013, 19:10 pm
You dominate at losing finals and semifinals. Long may that continue
17 Feb 2013, 19:12 pm
Do the hard yards before beating your chests. Sharkvarkies never learn.
17 Feb 2013, 19:40 pm
@David-114:
17 Feb 2013, 23:49 pm
@W.P-116: Do the research before making your name gat. 2 of the 7 are on loan. So that leaves 5. Have the Sharks got 5 players from any one province in their super rugby squad ? If you have the balls, answer the question instead of referring back to the Currie Cup final every time ?
As the illusion that the Sharks poach a bunch of FS players no doubt is born from past players too, I would like to mention Anton Van Zyl, Jacques Fourie, Conrad Jantjes, Ricky Januarie, Schalk Brits……..
No bigger poachers than the Lions A team aka. Stormers.
17 Feb 2013, 23:51 pm
Forgot Brian Mujati and I am sure there are a few more.
17 Feb 2013, 23:56 pm
@W.P-119: I think that should have been the message to your moffies before they played in last years super rugby semi-final.
18 Feb 2013, 00:01 am
Tomorrow is school. W.P has gone to bed.
18 Feb 2013, 05:47 am
Dusky since the 90′s there have been no greater poachers than the Sharks. Its an argument that’s not even up for debate. You lose by default. Ricky January? Bwahahahahahahaha. Born and bred from the Cape along with a host of players who come back home. Just shows how stupid you are. Then again you support the Sharks. What do you know. Inbred moron. Also why should I refer to the CC final? Oooooooooh, that’s when a bunch of Varsity cup players pw00sklapped the so called messiah’s of SA rugby. Bwahahahahahhahahahahahaha
18 Feb 2013, 06:32 am
Ryan Kankowski Keegan Daniel Lubelalu Mtembu Allan Dell Paul Jordaan Sibusiso Sithole Lwazi Mvovo Odwa Ndungane Tim Whitehead
That’s 9 players from EP in Sharks super rugby squad
Add Alberts Botes McLeod Ludick Deysel Vd Merwe Cooper from Lions = 7
And Bismarck and Jannie Du Plessis Viljoen Bosman Reinach and Steyn from FS = 6
Steff Du Toit and JPP from WP =2
Bressler from Namibia Beast from Zimbabwe
And you got the ultimate globe trotting foreign
legionaires all-star mercenary team.
How many dinkum soutie banana booties you got left
Butchie Lambie Coetsee Chadwick
That’s 26 foreigners and 4 locals in a squad of 30
I think this dusky dweeb is so far out his tree he dunno if he’s a banana eating chimpanzee or a displaced denialist in desolation district.
18 Feb 2013, 07:15 am
He’s just plain stupid to want to get into that debate. Missing a few brain cells.
