Focus on ourselves, not them
5 Mar 2013
The Sharks will focus only on themselves and not on what the Kings might do at the Nelson Mandela Stadium this Saturday.
John Plumtree wants his team to focus on their own game, continuing the good work in the set pieces and working on their attacking game.
Both matches to date have been physical encounters, and this one will be no different. The Kings’ set pieces were good against the Force and they know the Sharks’ strength and will expect the same from them.
What is sure to happen though, is that both teams will play a bit wider and try attack more, contrary to what we saw against the Stormers. Both teams have attacking backs, with Plumtree specifically mentioning SP Marais as a player that reminds him of Israel Dagg, and their strength in midfield with Andries Strauss and Ronnie Cooke.
The Sharks coach did confirm that there are no injury concerns from the Stormers match, and that his match 22 is bound to remain the same.

@Guns-1:
Actually looks a good player.
Good feet and is pretty quick. Seems to be pretty safe under the high ball as well.
Reminds me more of Jesse Mogg than Isreal Dagg though.
He’ll definitely be on the Sharks shopping list soon. Hehe.

Actually, Engelbrecht tried to get a contract with the Sharks two years ago, and they declined.
I very much doubt that either of those two players will even make the match 22 for the Sharks.
