Carter to miss SA tour
Dan Carter is in line to miss the Crusaders’ trip to South Africa, due to the birth of his first child.
Carter is reportedly set to take a few weeks off when the child is born, to give him and his new family the privacy they feel they deserve.
The Crusaders face the Stormers and the Sharks while in the republic, and the news will be a relief to the South African teams, as an in form Carter can win any game for his team.
Kahui back for Chiefs
Richard Kahui can make his long-awaited return to Super Rugby this weekend against the Highlanders, after he was bracketed to start on the bench.
Kahui has been out of action for almost a year, hurting his shoulder during Super Rugby last year, and will return to action in his final season in Super Rugby.
Kahui has had a horrid time injury wise, picking up four serious shoulder injuries in the past six years and has decided to further his career in Japan.
Coach Dave Rennie has made a few changes to the team that beat the Kings last week, with Craig Clarke set to miss the match due to slight head knock he picked up. Nick Crosswell takes the eight jersey, replacing Ross Filipo, who has been rules out for at least two months with a knee injury.
