Dave Rennie has made sweeping changes to his Chiefs match 22 for the match against the Sharks on Saturday. Richard Kahui returns to midfield partnering Tim Nanai-Williams while Augustine Pulu starts ahead of Brendon Leonard.
Amongst the forwards, Mo Schwalger starts after returning from injury, while Michael Kainga starts his first match of the year. It is a brand new front row with Toby Smith completing the trio. Fritz Lee misses the match with a broken finger, Nick Crosswell starting in his place.
