Injury changes for Chiefs

Injuries rule out backs Richard Kahui, Tim Nanai-Williams, Andrew Horrell and Charlie Ngatai. The midfield combination sees Bundee Aki and Save Takula join forces. Aaron Cruden gets a break, dropping to the bench. Gareth Anscombe takes his place, another new combination in the half backs, with Tawera Kerr-Barlow returning from injury.

Another player returning from injury is Robbie Robinson, who starts his first game of the season at fullback. Patrick Osborne is also back in the mix, starting on the wing.
