Boozed Beale banned – again

Troubled Wallabies and Rebels star Kurtely Beale has been suspended for booze-related behaviour just a week after his return to Super Rugby.

Beale, who missed a month of rugby after getting drunk and hitting out at two teammates, played against the Chiefs last weekend, but a day later was on drink again.

Beale attended a Melbourne Storm Rugby League match on the Sunday, abused booze and missed a mid-week appointment with a psychologist, which was part of his recovery.

Beale’s continued problem with the bottle means he is unlikely to be considered for the Wallabies three-Test series against the British and Irish Lions.
