Elgar Watts starts ahead of Burton Francis when the Cheetahs host the Reds on Saturday.
Watts is one of two changes for the Cheetahs, the second coming in the loose trio. Lappies Labuschagne is back and replaces Frans Viljoen.
Lappies was one of the stand out players during the early part of the season and coach Drotske will be hoping he can bring the same to the team. Watts looked great in the Cheetahs’ loss to the Hurricanes, and has been rewarded with a start.
On the bench, Riaan Smit returns from a lengthy injury lay-off, dropping Francis out of the match 22 altogether.
