Cheetahs top the table

The Cheetahs scored a bonus point win against the Lions in Johannesburg.

The Lions led 16-13 at halftime but the Cheetahs dominated the early part of the second half to score their fourth try by the 54th minute and led 27-19 going into the last quarter.

A strong last 10 minutes from the Lions was not enough to secure a home win and they fell short by a point.

Johan Sadie enjoyed a good afternoon for the Cheetahs and showed the kind of form that saw him spoken of as a potential Springbok when playing for the Stormers and Western Province two seasons ago.
