Barritt signs new deal with Saracens
Saracens have announced a new contract for skipper Brad Barritt, who is staying with the club for at least the next two seasons.
Saracens captain Brad Barritt has agreed a new deal for the next two seasons, the English club have confirmed.
The influential centre, who made his Sarries debut in November 2008, has won the Premiership four times in total, including Saturday’s final victory over Exeter Chiefs at Twickenham.
Barritt has also secured the European Champions Cup twice in his club career, winning the competition for the first time in 2016 before helping the holders defend their crown the following season.
Capped 26 times by England, the 31-year-old was a member of the British and Irish Lions squad that was victorious in Australia in 2013.
“It’s pretty much a no-brainer for me,” he told the club’s official website.
“Being part of Saracens has been an amazing journey and I’m really pleased to be able to extend my time at the club.

“I think the hallmark of our success as a club over the past few years has been the stability and the consistency of the squad we’ve kept together so I’m delighted to stay on the train and be part of this fantastic club.
“It feels as much as a family as it does a rugby club.”
