Pumas give Frogs a fright

France withstood a brave Argentina fightback to win 27-26 in Paris on Saturday.

Les Bleus, who had lost their previous four games against the Pumas, scored three tries including two from winger Christophe Dominici.

Argentina fought their way back from 27-9 with two second-half tries through No 8 Gonzalo Longo and fullback Juan Martin Hernandez.

Two penalties by flyhalf Federico Todeschini as well as two conversions from Felipe Contepomi, who took over at flyhalf, completed the Pumas’ scoring.
