Naas answers Cheetahs’ call

Naas Olivier will start at flyhalf when the Cheetahs host the Crusaders in Bloemfontein.

The former Stormers’ pivot moved to Griquas last season but has yet to make a Super 14 appearance for the central franchise. He will get his opportunity this Saturday with regular flyhalf Jacques-Louis Potgieter out for the rest of the competition with a finger injury.

Meyer Bosman has been named at No 12 but has battled with a hand injury sustained in the loss to the Chiefs. Piet van Zyl is on standby and will start if Bosman bows out later in the week.

Danwel Demas is back from a hamstring injury that’s ruled him out of the last two games. Bjorn Basson drops out of the match 22 as a result.

In the forwards, Hendro Scholtz returns at the back of the scrum.
