Brumbies blow away Force

Jake White’s Brumbies were brutal in dismantling the Force 41-7 in Canberra.

This was a top of the table plays bottom of the table match up and it showed as the Brumbies scored three tries within 20 minutes and had the bonus point try for scoring four tries before half-time.

They added two more in the second half and the Force’s only consolation was a late converted try to Matt Hodgson.

The Brumbies forwards dominated the visitors and the back three of Jesse Mogg, Henry Speight and Joseph Tomane would have had greater trouble ordering a drink at a pub than they did in breaking down the Force’s outclassed defence.

This was a case of one team simply being too good for another.

The Brumbies, having lost just once this season, edged ahead of the Reds in the Australian Conference and lead the overall standings.

Brumbies – Tries: Jesse Mogg, Henry Speight (2), Tevita Kuridrani, Joseph Tomane, Siliva Siliva. Conversion: Christian Lealiifano (4). Penalty: Lealiifano.

Force – Try: Matt Hodgson. Conversion: Jayden Hayward.
