Beast bolsters Sharks

Tendai ‘Beast’ Mtawarira is back in Black in White to face the Bulls this weekend.

The Beast returning is one of a few changes to the Sharks side. The only injury enforced change is that of JP Pietersen, Piet Lindeque replacing him in midfield.

In the pack, the Beast is back along with Pieter-Steph du Toit, Anton Bresler hurting his shoulder in training. Bresler drops from the match 22, allowing Jandre Marais to cover the second row from the bench.

The only other new face to the match 22 is Sean Robinson, who replaces Lindeque on the wood.

Both Bismarck du Plessis and Butch James trained this week, but are not quite fit yet for action. Allowing these players to go into the break and regain full fitness is a smart move.

There is still no space in the team for Ryan Kankowski, even though the player was included in the Springbok training squad.
