Late flurry floors Kings

The Stormers scored 10 points in the final five minutes to beat the Kings 24-12 in Port Elizabeth.

The visitors led 14-12 after 70 minutes and faced the prospect of defeat against the tournament’s last placed side.

But an Elton Jantjies penalty and a Deon Fourie try saved the Stormers blushes.

It was an uninspiring performance from the Western Cape franchise, for whom Jantjies kicked 14 of the 24 points.

The Kings deserved at least a bonus point try from the game but as in the 19-11 first round defeat against the Stormers in Cape Town they were undone in the final 10 minutes of the game.
