Lethal Lions leave it late

The Lions relied on a strong finish to claim five league points in Kimberley.

The hosts, always difficult to beat in Kimberley, led 32-24 with 20 minutes to play but the Lions tempo proved decisive in a final quarter that produced two match-winning tries.

The Lions, in winning 38-32, scored six tries to four in an entertaining Currie Cup match and kept the Lions in semi-final contention.
