Lions maul Bulls

A late flurry of tries from the Bulls could not mask another mauling against the Lions.

The Lions won 35-26 after leading 35-14 midway through the second half.

The Lions scored five tries to consolidate third place on the Currie Cup log.

The Sharks and Western Province lead the table with 24 points and the Lions have 20 points.

The Lions won the first round match 62-23 in Pretoria and while this was not as embarrassing for the Bulls, it was still a beating.
