Retallick to miss Springboks clash, Laumape also sidelined
New Zealand star Brodie Retallick will miss at least the All Blacks’ clash with South Africa due to a shoulder injury.
Retallick suffered the injury during his team’s 46-24 victory over Argentina in Nelson on Saturday.
The 27-year-old, who helped the All Blacks win the 2015 Rugby World Cup, has been ruled out of New Zealand’s meeting with the Springboks in Wellington on September 15.
Patrick Tuipulotu has been called up as Retallick’s replacement, the All Blacks confirmed.

Retallick may yet miss further matches, with New Zealand confirming he would undergo scans on the injury.
In a further blow, they also revealed Ngani Laumape would be sidelined for “at least a couple of weeks” due to a knee injury.
