Folou’s fitness a 50-50
While reports welcomed Wallabies Fullback Israel Folou back to action ahead of Saturday’s clash against the Boks, he’s giving himself a 50/50 chance of playing.
Folou suffered an ankle injury in his side’s opening 38-13 loss to New Zealand, subsequently missing the second clash which the Wallabies also lost, 40-12.
The Australians would be eager to get Folou’s services back, as they stand bottom of the log thus far in the Rugby Championship.
Folou will assess his fitness in training this week but did not seem confident, saying, “At this stage I’d probably say it’s a 50-50. Only had one run and that was on Friday. I guess I’ll know more as the week goes on.”
