Lethal Lions shut out Waratahs in bonus point win

The Lions were brilliant in a 29-0 win against the Waratahs in Sydney. The visitors led 7-0 at halftime and will take huge confidence from not conceding a point in their tour opener.

The Lions, whose pack controlled the match, and for whom Elton Jantjies was very good at flyhalf, scored four unanswered tries.

Jantjies kicked three conversions and a penalty to complete the rout.

The Lions have now won 10 of their last 11 fixtures against Australian outfits, including their last seven in a row.
