Milner-Skudder signs with Highlanders through 2021
Former All Blacks wing Nehe Milner-Skudder has signed with the Highlanders until the end of 2021.
Milner-Skudder, 29, signed with French club Toulon in late 2018, but a shoulder injury jeopardised that deal.
The 13-time New Zealand international will join the Highlanders ahead of the Super Rugby Aotearoa season beginning next month as he bids to return from injury.
“I’ve heard some unreal things about the club and the culture at the Highlanders,” Milner-Skudder said in a statement on Wednesday.
“I’m really looking forward to the move to Dunedin and embracing everything it has to offer.
“I’m excited for this new opportunity and can’t wait to get into some mahi with the boys and lace up the boots for the Highlanders.”

Milner-Skudder previously played 35 Super Rugby games for the Hurricanes between 2015 and 2019.
Highlanders head coach Aaron Mauger was delighted to welcome Milner-Skudder, who last played for the All Blacks in 2018.
“This was a great opportunity to include a player with his experience into our squad,” he said.
“His style of play suits the way the Highlanders play the game, especially under the roof at Forsyth Barr Stadium, and we look forward to welcoming him into the team.”
The Highlanders are set to face the Chiefs in the opening game of the Super Rugby Aotearoa season in Dunedin on June 13.
