Spencer replaces unwell Robson in England squad
Saracens scrum-half Ben Spencer has been added to England’s squad after Dan Robson was ruled out due to illness.
Ben Spencer has been called up to the England squad ahead of Saturday’s encounter with Scotland as a replacement for Dan Robson.
Robson came off the bench to score his first Test try in the 57-14 thrashing of Italy last Saturday, but he will miss England’s final match of the tournament due to illness.
Saracens scrum-half Spencer, capped twice on the tour of South Africa last year, will provide back-up for Ben Youngs.
Uncapped forward Elliott Stooke is among the 26 players retained by Eddie Jones.
England must beat Scotland at Twickenham and hope Ireland defeat Wales, who are chasing Grand Slam glory after four successive wins, to be crowned champions.
