Sydney 7s “top 2” players to watch: Pool B
The excitement surrounding the build up to every 7s weekend during the World Series is not only around teams and results, but around the anticipation of witnessing the skill of the various countries’ elite players. Here we pick our “Top Two Players To Watch” from Pool B, at the Sydney 7s
PIERRE POPELIN (France)
A promising young talent, Popelin possesses skill and speed as well as a great finishing ability. He’ll be looking to add some tries and assists to his tally this weekend.
WILLIAM AMBAKA NDAYARA (Kenya)
With 430 points in 177 matches, Ambaka is one of Kenya’s star performers. Weighing in at 103 kilos and standing just under 1,9 meters, his physical presence combined with speed and a beautiful swerve makes him a lovely player to watch.
