Van Graan signs new Munster contract until 2022
Munster have secured the future of head coach Johann van Graan until 2022. The South African signed a new deal on Monday.
Head coach Johann van Graan has extended his contract with Munster through to June 2022.
The South African, who left his role as Springboks forwards coach in November 2017, took Munster to the semi-finals of the Pro14 and the European Champions Cup last season.
His previous deal with the province had been set to expire in 2020, but he has earned a renewal as the side prepare for another European last-four clash against Saracens later this month.
Van Graan said: “I am very happy and grateful to be in this position, knowing that I can continue to work with this incredible group of people and play my part in shaping Munster’s future.
“Coming to Munster, I wanted to become part of the community and every day I get to experience that sense of belonging, with my family and I settling in from the very beginning.”
NEWS | We are pleased to confirm that Head Coach Johann van Graan has extended his contract for a further two years and will remain with the province until June 2022.
