The Lions announced on Monday that key Springboks Warren Whiteley and Malcolm Marx have been declared fit and available for selection.
The duo, who have been sidelined for a while after sustaining injuries during Super Rugby (Whiteley with a groin injury and Marx with a hamstring one), have been declared fit again in a report stating they “are both doing full training and are both available for selection this week”.
The pair were not originally expected to return to the international set up in the June series against England, and it remains unclear as to whether they will be called up to the Springbok squad for the last and final test on Saturday.
