Bosch scores but shocking Sharks blunder their way Down Under
The Sharks were more shocking than the Brumbies were brilliant in losing 24-17 in Canberra.
The hosts led 10-3 at halftime and extended the lead to 24-10 before a late Curwin Bosch try and Robert du Preez touchline conversion ensured a losing bonus point.
The Sharks had spoken of their ambition to go unbeaten overseas but from the outset they looked like they mentally were on a weekend bye. They were just awful.
The Brumbies wingers Lausii Taliauli and Henry Speigh scored tries and flyhalf Wharenui Hawera added a conversion and four penalties. Thomas du Toit and Bosch got the Sharks tries and Du Preez scored the rest of the points.
